Tour Plan
- Day1: Nairobi-Amboseli Pick up from Nairobi/airport, Depart for the Amboseli National Park. The drive is via the Nairobi -Mombasa highway and through Masai country as you head to Amboseli which lies at the floors of the mount Kilimanjaro, Amboseli is famous for its big game - elephants, lions and cheetahs are the main attractions - and for its great scenery beauty. Amboseli embodies five main wildlife habitats, plus a generally dry lake-bed - Lake Amboseli. These are open plains; extensive stands of yellow-barked acacia woodland; rocky, lava strewn thorn-bush country; swamps and marshes; and at the western end of the reserve, above Namanga, the massif of Ol Doinyo Orok rising to over 2,760m (8.300ft) and still for the most part zoologically unexplored. Enjoy your afternoon game drive at Amboseli National Park. Full board accommodation is included in the tour price. Dinner and overnight at camp/lodge
- Day2: Amboseli-Lake Nakuru Wake up early morning for the good views of Mount Kilimanjaro also known as the roof of Africa for being the highest mountain in Africa, the views are visible from your camp, Enjoy the morning breakfast Early morning breakfast , then enjoy a game drive at Amboseli national park, later depart for lake nakuru, a descent to the floor of the Great Rift Valley. Arrive at the evening. Dinner&overnight at camp/lodge
- Day3: Lake Nakuru-Masai mara Third day, Wake up early morning for the full breakfast, then proceed for the adventure in Lake Nakuru National park. Nakuru National Park is rich with over 350 bird species, the greater and lesser flamingoes, plovers, marabou stork, white pelican, egrets and not forgetting the white and black rhinos, Rothschild Giraffe, lion, zebra, Antelope, buffalo and other wild animals. Later depart for Masai Mara Game Reserve arriving in time for an evening game drive. Wherever you go in the Mara you will see a frequent amount of wildlife such as Masai giraffe, baboons, warthogs, bat eared foxes, grey jackals, spotted hyena, topis, impala, wildebeest. Elephants, buffaloes, zebras and hippos also exist in great numbers. It is also common to see lions either basking after a heavy meal, or surveying the plains for their next meal. Cheetahs and leopards are harder to spot but are still reasonably common. The ultimate action here is without doubt the annual wildebeest exodus in July and August when millions of these grass eaters move north from the Serengeti in search of lusher grass before turning south again in October. Dinner and overnight at lodge/camp
- Day 4: Full day in Mara After breakfast check-out with lunch boxes, whole day is spent exploring the park's amazingly high concentration of game. This game reserve is Kenya's finest wildlife sanctuary, including migrants; well over 450 species of animals have been recorded here. Mara plains are filled with migrating wildebeest and zebra; there is also resident wildlife year round. The Maras gentle fertile climate bounded by The Rift, offers perhaps the richest stocked reserve set within some 1672 sq. km - an unlimited spectacle of wildlife. Located 268 km west of Nairobi, the emphasis here is on game. Herds of immense Elephants, browse among Lion, Buffalo, Thompson Gazelle, Zebra and Topi. You may occasionally sight a Rhino or Leopard. In the Mara River Hippos play and Crocodiles bask on the banks. The annual migration of a million Wildebeest follows the rains north. After exploring the park return to the lodge with an option of visiting masai village. Dinner and overnight at lodge/camp
- Day 5: Masai Mara - Nairobi Pre breakfast morning game drive, then return to the camp/lodge for the main breakfast, after the breakfasts depart for Nairobi with lunch in Narok town. After lunch proceed on to Nairobi arriving in the evening and be dropped off at the Airport/Hotel.
